Job description
As Bitprop grows, we need to ensure that we are able to deliver the same value to our stakeholders at much bigger scale. We need you to work with our homeowners, helping them run their businesses successfully and acting as a support for their tenants. You will work closely with our Acquisition Manager and Marketing Manager to ensure a smooth relationship at all stages of our projects and a positive experience for homeowners and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Bitprop’s relationship with homeowners during and after construction in an on-going mentorship and support role.
- Very good communication skills and ability to teach
- Help homeowners understand lease agreements and help advertise available flats.
- Help homeowners advertise their available flats.
- Help homeowners to onboard new tenants on the Bitprop rental management system.
- Provide mediation assistance in the case of tenant disputes.
- Work with the Bitprop team and homeowners to ensure smooth operations of properties and to improve our homeowner onboarding and relationship management processes as we scale.
Qualifications and experience required
- Very good communication skills and ability to teach
- Some experience with property management or similar would be beneficial
- Able to travel regularly to different properties in Bitprop areas to meet with and do training our homeowners
- Patient and willing to spend time sitting with people
- Organised and able to keep track of various relationships, transactions and tasks
- Goal-driven and able to complete projects and tasks strictly within deadlines
- Good communication skills (telephonic and text-based)
- Self-driven and comfortable in a high-paced but flexible work environment
- Based in Cape Town and can travel to our office in the CBD
